Hani Sami, MD, is an internal medicine physician and the founder of Sierra Madre Community Medical Group. He attended la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, in Buenos Aires Argentina. He worked for 3.5 years as an internist and researcher in Montpellier, France before completing residency in internal medicine at Los Angeles County Hospital and USC Medical Center where he was chief resident. He enjoys the challenges of internal medicine, from preventative care to treating and managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and more. Dr. Sami has extensive experience in blood management and bloodless medicine for patients who cannot receive blood transfusions. Dr. Sami has held a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of USC for over 20 years. In addition to treating patients at the Sierra Madre Community Medical Group, Dr. Sami follows his patients at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Sami enjoys reading about medicine, cooking, traveling, spending time with his wife and two daughters. He speaks fluent English, Spanish, and French.
